These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the InboxEd website and platform. By creating a workspace or using InboxEd, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.
1. The service
InboxEd is a software platform that lets businesses connect their own WhatsApp Business assets and manage customer conversations from a shared workspace. InboxEd is independent software and is not a Meta or WhatsApp product.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate information when creating a workspace and keep your login credentials secure. The workspace owner is responsible for the Users it invites, the permissions it assigns, and all activity within the workspace.
3. Connecting WhatsApp Business assets
You connect your Meta Business Portfolio, WhatsApp Business Account, and business phone number through Meta's supported onboarding flow and authorize InboxEd to access the resources required to provide the service. You retain ownership and control of those assets and may revoke InboxEd's access at any time. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to Meta's terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, and any fees Meta charges for messaging.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use InboxEd to:
- Send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or send spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
- Share unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
- Violate Meta's or WhatsApp's terms and policies.
- Attempt to access other workspaces, disrupt the platform, or bypass access controls.
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
5. Your data
You own the conversation data and customer information in your workspace. You grant InboxEd the rights needed to host, process, and display that data to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and communicate with your end customers. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Fees
Paid plans, if applicable, are billed according to the pricing and terms presented at signup or in your order. Fees charged by Meta for WhatsApp conversations are separate and may be passed through or billed directly by Meta, as described at the time of purchase.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep InboxEd available and reliable, but the service depends on third-party infrastructure, including Meta's platform, and may occasionally be interrupted. We may update or change features of the service over time.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using InboxEd and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms or Meta's policies are violated, or where required by law. After termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, InboxEd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from use of the service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and notify Customers of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
